Testimonials...

A written testimonial is an affirmation from another party of your skills and abilities. This much, we can agree upon. There is a debate as to whether or not to include a testimonial front-and-center on your resume. I liken it to choosing a book at your local Barnes & Noble bookseller. I'm guilty of it, and I'm sure many of you are as well - reading and believing testimonials on the back of the book or on the inside flap. Do those testimonials sway your decision to buy the book? Perhaps. Regardless, every publisher does it. So, I say, "do it too." Don't be afraid to defy convention, especially in this economy.
