Back in December 2008, The New York Post ran an article titled, Better Sign of Times. In it, they profiled an MIT grad who strolled the streets of Midtown Manhattan wearing a sign to advertise his availability. Additionally, he collected business cards from interested Execs, and followed-up at day's end. Incredibly, it worked. He was hired rather rapidly using this approach.
Have you canvassed your local area to advertise your availability?
